As an attachment based and formally trained EFT therapist, Christina focuses on helping individuals and families maintain healthy connections and repair ruptures when necessary.

She works from the perspective that children’s lives are vastly different from those of their parents. Teens are under more pressure to achieve and parents are experiencing more anxiety to help them get there. Plus, teens have vastly more connections to the outside world; access to more people, world events and information than any previous generation, yet feel isolated, insecure and alone.

With Christina, young people begin to know their value and understand that social media connections are often fleeting, fickle and inauthentic. And while a simple “like” or “thumbs up” may satisfy a longing for acceptance and validation, it is no substitute for genuine support, connection and closeness.

Christina supports young people as they develop the skills they need to prepare for change, achieve success and experience joy in their lives.

Christina also works with parents to help them learn how to remain present with their children while fine-tuning parenting styles; creating more emotional safety and trust in the family unit.

Christina is a graduate of St. Louis University, The University of South Carolina School of Social Work and is a clinical member of the following professional organizations:

  • The National Association of Social Workers (NASW)
  • International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT)

She loves spending time at the beach with her husband and their Labrador retriever, Sanka. They are avid football fans and have competing favorite teams. Christina loves music, books and remains centered through the practice of Tai Chi, walking and spending time with family.
