If you are a passionate and dedicated graduate student pursuing a career in couples therapy you might consider our Graduate Internship Program at Wellness Counseling Center.

As part of our dynamic team, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience, expand your knowledge, and develop the skills necessary to excel in the field.

At Wellness we are committed to providing services that promote human connection and well-being. Our practice is known for its compassionate, client-centered approach using the EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) model.

EFT recognizes that love is all about connection and emotional bonding. It is a systemic, humanistic and non-pathologizing method. This means no-blame and no-shame. EFT is evidence-based and provides the highest success rate on the planet for couples.

Because we believe in the importance of partnership and empowering people to lead fulfilling lives, our program is designed to provide a supportive and enriching learning experience. Working closely with our experienced licensed clinicians and supervisors is a requirement.

To participate, you must be enrolled in a graduate program in counseling, marriage and family therapy or related field. You must have strong interpersonal skills along with a desire to grow and an ICEEFT Externship (from the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy) is also required.
