Anne is a prominent relationship therapist and Founder of Wellness Counseling Center. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and specializes in working with couples and families. She has a doctorate in Psychology and masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Anne is a certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist and Supervisor. She always works from a wellness-oriented, non-pathologizing point of view. That means no-blame, no-shame. Anne conducts 2½ Day Couples Intensives.

Beth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, exceptionally well trained and certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She holds a masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and is our Wellness Couples Intensive Specialist. Beth conducts 2 ½ Day and 1-Day Intensives empowering couples to move forward at an accelerated pace. Her focus is working with couples who want a strong partnership, yet struggle with communication, trust, and emotional connection. Beth's priority is ending the conflict and recreating a healthy, happy relationship.

Sheila is a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed to practice in both North Carolina and South Carolina. She is a certified EFT Couples Therapist and holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy (Pfeiffer University) and a Masters in Criminal Justice (ECU). As a South Carolina resident, Sheila leads our Columbia/Lexington office and enjoys working close to home. While specializing in couples therapy, her experience also includes working with individuals with PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and substance abuse. Sheila’s goal is to make an impact helping individuals and couples increase self-awareness, confidence and connection.
Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She holds a Masters in Education, a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Post-Graduate Degree in Professional School Counseling. Her counseling experience includes working with children and teens who are exploring healthy ways to communicate and express emotions. Stephanie has extensive experience working with children with identified special needs including social-emotional and academic challenges. She believes everyone's voice deserves to be heard. Stephanie also sees children and teens who are exploring their gender and identity.

Spencer is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and holds a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is formally trained in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples) and EMDR, a method used primarily with people who have experienced trauma, including PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). His experience includes trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief. Spencer enjoys working with clients who want lasting change for themselves and their relationship. He’s passionate about helping people practice new ways of relating and sees every relationship as a unique journey of connection, empowerment and authenticity.

Dontrell comes to Wellness as a Graduate Intern from the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Northcentral University where he is scheduled to graduate in 2024. He received his BA in Psychology from Winthrop University in 2016. Wellness Counseling Center is proud to provide supervision and training for graduate students entering the profession. Dontrell is ICEEFT trained in the EFT model and looks forward to connecting with a wide range of individuals and couples, including LGBTQIA+. He is achievement oriented and loves helping people as they face challenges and reach their goals.

Nicole is a Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Intern from Capella University and is scheduled to graduate in 2024. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy (2010) from East Carolina University. Nicole has worked with soldiers of The Wounded Warriors Program and with families of children with disabilities. Her experience with military families provides special insight regarding their unique life stressors and its impact. Wellness Counseling Center is proud to provide supervision and training for graduate students entering the profession. ICEEFT trained in the EFT model, Nicole’s special gift is helping families reconnect and build strong bonds.

Bea is a Graduate Intern from Pfeiffer University’s Marriage & Family therapy program. She is ICEEFT trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and has a special passion and concern for couples in distress. She helps partners navigate infidelity, trauma and sexual issues. Bea received her undergraduate degree from Villanova University (B.S. Business and Finance) and spent her early career in major corporations and non-profits. Kindness and compassion guide her work as she helps couples maximize their potential and live their most authentic life. Bea is also a certified Leadership and Life Coach.

LeeAnne is our Director of Client Relations and brings enthusiasm to the role. With a decade of valuable experience, she knows our process inside-out and understands the Wellness client. LeeAnne is also your primary resource and guide for our 1-Day and 2 1/2-Day Intensives. She coordinates these specialized services and provides a seamless white-glove experience from your initial phone conversation to the moment you step through our door. With a gentle approach, LeeAnne expertly guides you through an array of options you'll need to consider before making a well-informed decision. Then, when you are ready and the time is right, LeeAnne will skillfully set you and your partner up for the meaningful journey ahead.
