Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping children and teens explore, express, and manage their emotions.
Stephanie believes that we all experience emotions both the comfortable and uncomfortable. How we express these emotions has the most impact on how we navigate through our environment. As a counselor, Stephanie is most passionate about creating a non-judgmental space for children and teens to identify healthy ways to manage and express their emotions.
Stephanie sees children and teens for individual counseling services. She utilizes child-centered play therapy techniques, creative therapy techniques, and CBT techniques to help clients explore healthy coping skills. She has weekend and some evening appointments available.
Originally from Nebraska, Stephanie is a novice hiker and enjoys exploring nature trails across the state of North Carolina. She believes in the power of healthy and strong family relationships whether it is the “biological” family or the “family” one has created through strong bonds. Stephanie spends the majority of her free time with her family and friends and enjoys planning “Family and Friends” events to get together with loved ones.
