Ali creates a warm and trusting collaborative relationship with clients; one that encourages respect, vulnerability and willingness. She provides therapy for individuals including young adults at a reduced fee under the Supervision of Drs. Anne Hancock and John Nance.
In an earlier career, Ali worked as a Surgical Assistant and Operating Room Director until she decided to return to graduate school at UNCC.
Ali has experience working with issues such as anxiety, grief, loss and self-esteem and has fulfilled her practicum serving families as a Grief Counselor at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Lake Norman.
She is a strong advocate for people who want to build healthy relationships through self-awareness, communication and connection.
Wellness Counseling Center is proud to provide graduate level training for students entering the profession. Ali comes to us from the Graduate Counseling Program at UNCC and is scheduled to graduate in December 2022. She received her bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University.
When not in the office, she enjoys yoga, cooking, walking and spending time with friends and family.
