Loving is not the same as longing.
Love is a verb….and an art form.
Like a muscle that must be used or a dance that must be danced, love gets stronger….better with practice.
Noticing what works and what doesn’t.
Adjusting. Taking risks. Speaking truth while honoring each other.
LOVE is so valuable,
so vital and so desired,
that some people confuse it with longing; a sensation that mimics hope but is rooted in fear.
Longing is worrisome and has you tiptoeing around on eggshells.
Longing is for the understudy and rarely leads to joy or a relationship that flows.
It always keeps LOVE and CONNECTION just beyond reach.
The leading man and leading lady see love as something they do and practice on a moment to moment basis.
And they create it.
