Karen Naegel

Karen Naegel – Graduate Intern  
Karen helps create a safe and trusting relationship with clients; one that encourages respect, empathy and acceptance. She is a Graduate Intern from NCU, and her services are provided at a reduced rate while she works under the Supervision of Dr. Anne Hancock and Dr. Lauren Fix. Karen is keenly aware of the research on how close loving bonds with a significant other boosts heart health and overall wellness; extending longevity and increasing life satisfaction.

Karen’s Office Hours:

Julie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a formally trained EFT Couples Therapist. She holds a Masters in Counseling and a Bachelors in Sociology from Wake Forest University. Her experience includes working with couples and families with the goal of healing and strengthening relationships.

Stephanie Davis M.A.

Stephanie Davis M.A.
Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She holds a Masters in Education, a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Post-Graduate Degree in Professional School Counseling. Her counseling experience includes working with children and teens who are exploring healthy ways to communicate and express emotions.

Christina Bronte Family Therapist

Christina Bronte M.S.W.  
Christina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and formally trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Her passion is helping teens, young adults and their families navigate today’s complex and fast-paced environment by building confidence and developing a strong sense of self. She also helps adults work through life transition issues while maintaining equilibrium in the face of overwhelming odds. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, academic pressures, parental loss, adoption and the impact of social media. Christina believes that to live our best life, we must remain connected and attuned to ourselves, our values and those who matter most.

Sheila Mull M.A.
Sheila is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and is a formally trained EFT Couples Therapist. She holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy (Pfeiffer University) and a Masters in Criminal Justice (ECU). Her experience includes working with individuals with PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and substance abuse. Her goal is to help individuals and couples increase self-awareness, confidence and connection.

Sarah Faircloth

Sarah Faircloth M.A.
Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a formally trained EFT Couple Therapist. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill (B.A. Psychology) and Wake Forest University (M.A. Counseling), Sarah is also an accomplished yoga instructor. She understands the meaning of presence and is skilled at using EFT’s step-by-step process to help couples identify and stop challenging negative patterns. Sarah recognizes the profound impact a distressed relationship can have on our overall physical and emotional well-being.

Beth McCain

Beth McCain M.A.
Beth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, exceptionally well trained and certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). She holds a masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her specialty is working with couples who want a strong partnership, yet struggle with communication, trust, and emotional connection. Beth’s priority is ending the conflict and recreating a healthy, happy relationship. Beth conducts classic counseling services and 1-Day and 2 1/2-Day Couples Intensives.

Anne Hancock

Anne Hancock Psy.D.
Anne is a prominent relationship therapist and Founder of Wellness Counseling Center. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and specializes in working with couples and families. She has a doctorate in Psychology and masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Anne is a certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist and Supervisor. She always works from a wellness-oriented, non-pathologizing point of view. That means no-blame, no-shame. Anne conducts 2 1/2-Day Couples Intensives.
