Karen helps create a safe and trusting relationship with clients; one that encourages respect, empathy and acceptance. She is a Graduate Intern from NCU, and her services are provided at a reduced rate while she works under the Supervision of Dr. Anne Hancock and Dr. Lauren Fix. Karen is keenly aware of the research on how close loving bonds with a significant other boosts heart health and overall wellness; extending longevity and increasing life satisfaction.

Norena is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a formally trained Emotionally Focused Therapy Couples Therapist. She holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A & M Corpus Christi. Her experience includes working with culturally diverse couples and families (including LGBTQIA+) and families impacted by adoption.

Christina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters degree from the University of South Carolina. She is a formally trained EFT Couples Therapist and deeply committed to helping couples connect. Christina understands how connection to those we love impacts our lives and the lives of those we care about most. Her work with couples focuses on deepening this connection through improved communication and a better understanding of each other’s experience. Christina also works with individuals who have experienced, trauma, depression, anxiety or life changing events.

She understands the meaning of presence and is skilled at using EFT’s step-by-step process to help couples identify and stop challenging negative patterns. Sarah recognizes the profound impact a distressed relationship can have on our overall physical and emotional well-being.

Her specialty is working with couples who want a strong partnership, yet struggle with communication, trust, and emotional connection. Beth’s priority is ending the conflict and recreating a healthy, happy relationship. Beth conducts classic counseling services and 1-Day and 2 1/2-Day Couples Intensives.

She always works from a wellness-oriented, non-pathologizing point of view. That means no-blame, no-shame. Anne conducts 2 1/2-Day Couples Intensives.
