Courtney is passionate about relationship and her approach focuses on helping couples get out of their patterns of miscommunication and disconnection.
Courtney is a graduate of North Carolina State University (B.A. Psychology) and University of North Carolina at Charlotte (M.A Social Work).
Highlighting and identifying a couple’s negative cycle is the first step in restoring a meaningful and loving relationship. It helps partners get unstuck and facilitates understanding. Courtney is experienced in working with addiction, anxiety, depression, and family dysfunction. Working with many different types of people led to her desire to focus on restoring relationships. Couples Therapy is Courtney’s passion and she conducts each session with care and empathy.
Courtney and her husband, who is also her high school sweetheart, spend their free time renovating their home and watching Panthers games. Courtney considers herself a self-made food connoisseur and enjoys discovering new restaurants too. She has fun traveling and exploring new places but always considers Charlotte her home. Courtney’s an avid runner and loves spending time outdoors with her husband and their black lab.
